Why do some people avoid asking for help? Have you ever said, "I just don't know what to do?"
Life coach Paula White says, "You can't conquer what you won't confront."
Just as nothing plus nothing equals nothing, so does ignoring situations. They don't go away and in most cases they tend to get worse.
If the reason is fear, I declare that you need not be afraid. There is nothing wrong with asking. In fact you have a right to ask for help and to keep asking until you get the response you need.
Many people tend to live in the hypothetical, the ‘what if?' or ‘what will they think?' mindset. But this way gets you nowhere. If you spend your time making conditional\ assumptions you'll eventually talk yourself out of what you need most.
According to Merriam-Webster, confront means to face especially in challenge; bring face to face.
And conquer means to gain mastery over or win by overcoming obstacles or opposition. When you chose to face your challenges you ultimately win.
Never give anyone else power over your destiny. Never box yourself in a victim mentality, especially when you are holding the keys.
One call, that's all. Face your own fear and ask for help.
"You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so.
For remember, fear doesn't exist anywhere except in the mind."
