Kevin Leroy Howard, 42, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC.
He was born on November 27, 1968 in Ridgeland, SC to the late Leroy Howard Jr. and Elizabeth Jenkins Howard.
He was employed by Red Roof Inn as a Landscaper and Maintenance person. He was formerly employed by The Bob Thomas Company and Aubrey Roy Landscaping as well as the Red Roof Inn. He was a graduate of Ridgeland High School, Class of 1986. He was a member of First Heyward Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving mother, Elizabeth Jenkins Howard of Ridgeland; two sisters, Ms. Shirley Howard of Atlanta, GA; Ms. Laverne Howard of Ridgeland; one brother, Keith Howard of Ridgeland; four aunts, Mrs. Elvira Digno of Ridgeland; Geneva (John) Anderson of Ridgeland; Mrs. Lillian Jenkins of Ridgeland; Ms. Patricia H. Black of Bluffton; three uncles, Mr. Otis (Susie) Howard of Baltimore, MD; Mr. Larry Howard of Baltimore, MD; Mr. Lorenzo (Gertie) Howard of Beaufort; six nieces, Ariel Howard of Atlanta, GA; Tasha Howard of Ridgeland; Brittany Nelson of Charleston; Whitley Howard of Ridgeland; Keely Howard of Atlanta, GA; Valincia Hewyard of Ridgeland; five nephews, Mr. Terry Cherry of New York, NY; Teinge Howard, Jaquade Outten, Keith Howard, Jr. and Mr. Jaheim Howard, all of Ridgeland; special friends, Mr. Michael Toomer, Mr. Edmund Davis, Mr. Joe (Shontell) Singleton, Mr. Bernard Cambell, Mr. Vernard Cambell, Ms. Sharon Heyward, all of Ridgeland; Ms. Sharon Nelson of Charleston and a host of loving cousins, relatives and other friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Howard, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at The First Heyward Baptist Church in Ridgeland with burial in Jackville Cemetery in Bluffton. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Sauls Funeral Home in Ridgeland, SC.
