Ridgeland and Hardeeville seeded in playoffs

Seems as if both teams will be hosting a playoff game next week. Sources have told me that Hardeeville will be a 2 seed in the lClass 1-a Division II Lower State bracket, and are to face off against region foe Whale Branch. The Jags will be a 4 seed, and could possibly host Johnsonville, although that may change. So far this is unofficial, but the SCHSL is set to release the official playoff matchups in the next 30 minutes or so.

Ridgeland gets 4 Seed in Division I

Well, the SCHSL has officially released the Division I brackets for Class A, and the Jaguars will be the 4 seed  and will host Johnsonville Friday. Based off points, Ridgeland would have gotten a 3rd seed. Due to the SCHSL wanting the region champs to get the top four seeds, Ridgeland was seeded 4th behind Bamberg-Ehrhardt, Hemingway, and Burke. If Ridgeland wins its first round game, the Jags will get a rematch against Bamberg in the second round.

Hardeeville gets 2 Seed in Division II

It's official. The Canes get the 2 seed and host the playoff games until the Lower State finals. They will face off against region foe Whale Branch Friday night.
