Last night was supposedly the peak for the Perseid meteor shower, but like last year, was kind of disappointing to me. There didn't seem to be as many meteors as the International Meteor Organization had predicted. Not from my location anyway.

Wednesday night I made an attempt to capture an image of any meteors I might see leading up to the "big show" last night. I saw 28 meteors that night, but was unable to catch one in the field of view of my camera.  I made another attempt last night, since that was suppose to be the peak night, and there should have been more meteors to take a shot at. I made my effort from Midnight until 2:45 AM. I only saw 17 meteors last night, but I did manage to capture one. It's not the best photo ever taken of a Perseid meteor, but at least it's something for my effort.
