Seems as if both teams will be hosting a playoff game next week. Sources have told me that Hardeeville will be a 2 seed in the lClass 1-a Division II Lower State bracket, and are to face off against region foe Whale Branch. The Jags will be a 4 seed, and could possibly host Johnsonville, although that may change. So far this is unofficial, but the SCHSL is set to release the official playoff matchups in the next 30 minutes or so.

Today marks the last day of the season for many teams around the state. Forutnately for all of Jasper, that won't be the case. Both Hardeeville and Ridgeland have secured a playoff spot, and tonight both teams wil be fighting for bragging rights and a possible 1st round playoff game. But before that.......

Two things: Great game by Ridgeland last week as they completely dominated a lesser squad in Bethune-Bowman.
