On a lighter side,congratulations on the victories of South Carolina, and Hardeeville.  Ridgeland you played a tough one , better luck next time.  As for outsiders, you wouldn't believe what they hear from the local eateries.  So, yes, the gossip is running amuck.  Some truth,some speculation,  some opinionated, some false you choose what you want to believe.  Most outsiders are proud that they did not come from here.  It seems that now a days, everywhere, people love to see someone in law enforcement go down.  It is a shame. 

    Evidently, as bad as it is,  SLED knows more than you do.  No one knows what can make a  good person snap.  It happened and is unfortunate for all involved.  You owe people an apology for belittling their intelligence.  Maybe they weren't wrong after all.

        I am sorry that Thomas Heyward has loss a wonderful coach.  O'Quinn was a dedicated coach who loved the sport and was willing to teach others.  To take the team so far in so little time shows commitment and dedication.   I hope he heals quickly, and maybe he will be able to return to the sport he loves.  I wish the best for Thomas Heyward in finding a person who will be as dedicated as he was to continue this fine sport.  I hope they win the state this year! 

   No one in this county will ever be satisfied with our elected officials.  I feel that Sheriff Jenkins was elected fair and square.  Usually, those that complain are those that don't vote.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Sheriff Jenkins handled this unfortunate incident with Joel O'Quinn correctly by giving it to SLED.  I hope all those involved are doing ok.  There is no man or woman worth shooting over.  There are more fish in the sea.  I will only fight over my children if they are being threatened.  Otherwise, no one is worth going to jail over.  There is a
